I have started publishing my VC DE 100% completion videos on my Youtube channel here, for anyone interested: I played VC DE to relive my memories & I will say my nostalgia has been satisfied. The Remaster has refreshed me with the happy energetic 1980s life namely, Scarface, Miami Vice, 80s music, Laura Brannigan. Lighting during different day-times like dawn, noon, dusk & midnight is beautiful I played DE with a bunch of Mods which made it look a lot better. Graphics look great at the 1080-1440p Ultra settings which I play on. But there's a catch which I will explain later. Vehicle missions especially Brown Thunder/Vigilante & Firefighter are easy. Using LMB & RMB for Elevation control of Helos was neat. Vehicle controls are overall better & easier in the remaster. So no more having to go back to mission start marker or load a previous game. Once I fail a mission, I get a prompt to "restart at last checkpoint" which is essentially mission start with the same car & weapons I had like a proper autosave. I'm talking 4k Textures, higher poly models, Ray Tracing etc With this modern UE4 port, modders can make the game a whole lot better than what GSG(Grove Street Games) have done or could be achieved using the old "Renderware" engine. This will be a review of the "Remastered Definitive Edition" & not Vice City as a game. Vice City was my first contact with the GTA Universe way back in early 2000s & indeed remains my favorite even today. My 2nd playthrough of Vice City & 1st of Definitive Edition, one of the 3 Unreal Engine 4 port/remaster of the 3D Era of Grand Theft Auto.
